The ED is No Place for The Older Adult

Dr. Rebekah Griffith will be discussing her experience as a the emergency department and ICU and the role physical therapists play in bring care to our geriatric population.

Speaker: Dr. Rebekah Griffith PT, DPT, NCS, is a physical therapist who specializes in care in the Emergency Department and ICU settings. She believes that physical therapy should not be a luxury and should be accessible to everyone, particularly in life’s most critical moments. As part of this work she offers cash pay, mobile physical therapist services. In addition to her clinical work, she provides professional development coaching, writing, and photography services.Dr. Griffith has received the Bob Doctor Service Award, Emerging Leader Award, and the Pauline Cerasoli Academic & Clinical Excellence Award. She holds a BA in Kinesiology and Physiology and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado. She is a Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist and a Fellow in Training at Regis University.
